FLIGHT TRAINING

Interested in learning to fly?

We can help you!

We currently offer training towards Private and Commercial Pilots Licences

Do you want to do it for recreation or for work?

Follow on to see the basic differences between a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) and a Commerical Pilot's Licence (CPL)...

PPL = means you are only flying for personal enjoyment, personal travel and recreational trips. You cannot receive paid compensation for flying. You require a medical certificate (either a DL9 or Class 2), pass all six of the required PPL theory exams, have a minimum of 50 hours relevant flight time and be of 17 years of age before sitting your flight test.

CPL = means you are flying for commercial operations and can be paid for your services as a pilot. You require a Class 1 medical certificate, pass all six of the required CPL theory exams, have a minimum of 200 hours relevant flight time and be of 18 years of age before sitting your flight test.

The next step for CPL pilots is to gain a number of "ratings", such as the flight instructor rating, and many CPL holders will want to obtain an instrument rating if they have the goal of becoming an airline pilot.

We can help you with your flying ambitions, whether PPL or CPL, and would love to hear from you!
