Roster
About the roster
We will attempt to roster a Gliding instructor for each Sunday. Over the winter it's important to know who's turning up so we can arrange for a tow pilot and/or winch driver. So anyone planning on gliding (especially students) needs to TXT the rostered instructor before 8pm Saturday. TXT something like "fred arriving @ 11 aero pref". Cell numbers are on this page.The rostered instructor will try to arrange the day as required and should contact the chief tow pilot Saturday night if towing is required.
Students need to turn up early, help get the gliders out, washed and DI'd. Once soaring starts your instructor may just take off and do their own flying! During Summer we start at 10am, during Winter make that 11am.
Power instruction generally takes place Sunday morning. Please arrange with Roger Bennett well in advance.
