Microlights
Several of our club members fly microlights. Roger Sparks owns a Tecnam Golf
100 HP. This is a high performance aircraft that easily cruises at 100Kts. A
few lucky members are able to hire this to get their weekly aviation fix.
There have been a variety of other microlights in Central Otago. One popular model is the Rans Coyote S6, it's a bit like a Piper Cub. For a while our club had one on hire, and another member built one and flew it all over NZ. Although both machines have since been sold another member has a Sonex under construction.
